Revolutionary Bed Bug Detection Launches in France

Five simple steps for identifying even low-level infestations in just five minutes

A TruDetx Bed Bug Rapid Test.

Our latest innovation for bed bug management, the TruDetxTM Bed Bug Rapid Test, launched in France last fall, marking the product’s availability now in two markets. (It launched in the U.S. in June.) This new Envu product revolutionizes bed bug detections for pest management professionals by providing reliable results for even low-level infestations in minutes.

The Envu TruDetx Bed Bug Rapid Test is a highly accurate, science-based test for detecting potential bed bug residues on surfaces where they hide. With more than 90% accuracy,* TruDetx Bed Bug Rapid Test can detect even moderate to low-level bed bug infestations on-site and provide results in five minutes

Five Simple Steps for Rapid Bed Bug Detection

  1. To begin the collection process, simply open the swab and use the soft end to collect residues in sleeping areas where bed bugs are commonly found, such as headboards, mattress pipings and seams, bedside tables, drawers, baseboards, and bed legs.

  2. Once finished, return the swab to its holder. You can choose to perform the test immediately or label the sample and run the test later.

  3. To begin the test, break the solution seal in the swab by bending the stem until it snaps, releasing the liquid. Gently agitate the swab for 15 seconds to ensure it is soaked.

  4. Next, open the test pouch and place the test on a flat surface. Remove the white cap at the bottom of the swab, and then squeeze the bulb gently to place four drops into the well.

  5. In just five minutes, red lines will appear showing the results from the sample you collected. Only one line along the C (control) line indicates bed bug residues are not present. Two lines (one at the C mark and another at the test “T” mark) indicate that bed bug residues are present. These results are valid for 15 minutes.

TruDetx Bed Bug Rapid Test provides a science-based assessment of the presence, or the absence, of bed bug residues, helping to calm customer concerns and begin the solution to confirm infestations.
